Our investment thesis
India is the most exciting place in the world to build a technology company today, and we have believed this since 2008, long before it became consensus. Over 17 years and four funds, our view has remained consistent. Enduring companies are built by founders who see a real problem clearly and solve it with technology that is genuinely hard to replicate. Our Process
First conversation
A 30–60 minute call with a member of our investment team. We review your deck and understand what you are building, why now, and why you are the right team. You will speak directly with decision-makers, often including a partner, from the very first interaction. If there is mutual interest, we move quickly.
Deep Dive
A more detailed discussion to understand your product, market, and team. We focus on how your product works, what makes it different, and how you see the business evolving over the next few years. This is a working session, not a presentation.
Due diligence
Two to three weeks of customer conversations, reference checks, and market work. We share our thinking as we go. The goal is to build conviction together through an open and transparent process.
Investment committee
A discussion across the full partnership to align on the opportunity and build conviction as a team. We move quickly at this stage and aim to give you a clear answer within a week of completing diligence.
Term sheet and close
Standard, clean terms with no unnecessary complexity. Once we issue a term sheet, it reflects a firm commitment. We stay closely involved through documentation and work with all parties to ensure a smooth and timely close.
